Who We Are
Altum Law is a Singapore law practice focused on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), regulatory compliance and governance matters, private equity and private client. Established in 2014 by founder and managing director Lee Pih Peng, we have established a strong reputation in the local corporate market, with both the firm and our directors, Lee Pih Peng and Gregory Chan, having received The Legal 500 Asia Pacific rankings for capital markets practice1.
We are one of the select 40 firms on Asian Legal Business’s list of ALB Singapore Firms to Watch 2026, such award recognising our potential as a boutique firm that punches above our weight.

With effect from 2026, we have entered into a practice collaboration with Nine Yard Chambers LLC to provide a more comprehensive and integrated suite of services that includes disputes resolution. Our Directors regularly collaborate with the team at Nine Yard Chambers LLC on joint engagements or providing cross-practice advice to corporate clients, including cases involving shareholder disputes and complex company disputes, and we are further cementing this collaboration with our former Directors Allan Tan and Karen Pok joining the Corporate Practice team at Nine Yard Chambers LLC in early 2026.

Who We Serve
We serve mainly a corporate clientele.
Our clients are domestic and international, with diverse business pursuits such as listed companies, funds and asset management, family offices, and are in industries such as property development, healthcare services, AI-enabled services, co-living, food and beverage and spread across countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Hong Kong SAR and the People’s Republic of China.
We are privileged to serve as trusted advisors to many of our clients, often from the beginning of their corporate journey, from start-ups to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to companies embarking on their initial public offerings and those already listed on major stock exchanges in the region and internationally, and we actively act for investors such as venture capital and private equity funds and their investee companies.
Our practice in the area of capital markets encompasses the entire spectrum of a listed issuer’s journey from its initial public offering and (if necessary) privatisation and delisting. We have close working relationships with many of the Catalist full and continuing sponsors operating in Singapore, and provide legal support to their listed clients, as well as for their own regulatory compliance matters, including pre-eminent leaders in the continuing-sponsor market who have been valued clients of our principal lawyers for 20 years or more.
In our private client practice, we advise family offices and high net-worth clients, both Singapore and regional, in relation to their investments and succession and legacy planning.
